Stafford RC Monday night club rides start again April 20th

Now that the evenings are getting lighter our regular club rides will begin again on Monday evenings.  The rides leave for 18:45 from the windmill which is situated on the roundabout opposite Stafford college close to Sainsbury’s.

The rides will follow the usual routes through the lanes west of Stafford arriving back about 20:15.  Steady pace, go out as a group and back as a group.  Depending on numbers the ride will be split into groups with Chris B and John C been the regular ride leaders.

Due to the size of the county lanes it will be best for everyone’s safety and to show due consideration to other road users for the groups to be of 8 to 12 riders rather than 18 to 22 as we have had in the past.  So please follow the instruction of the ride leaders on the night as to how many groups we will have.  You may need lights for the first few weeks as it will be getting dark as we arrive back.

Look forward to seeing you all on these weekly rides.  But remember if it’s ‘raining cats and dogs’ it’s more than likely that the ride leaders will decide to have a night off.  These rides will run through till later September when the nights start drawing in again.
