Stafford RC 15 Mile TT results 29 June 2016

Well done to Steve (Born to Bike RT) who set an impressive course record on last nights new event.  Fortunately the weather had dried up by he start of the event but riders finished in another torentional downpoor.  Our symphysis to the marshals stood out in it ☺

A few comments made on the night by riders all seemed very positive regarding the new course but we would be interested to hear your feedback on the course with the prospective of using it in the 2017 club calander.  With the A449 through Penkridge becoming increasingly busy we are keen to find alternative routes  but its the riders views that are most important.  We also have the option of two loops of the Huntingdon circuit to make a 22 mile course also.  So please let us know in the comments box below what did you think of the traffic levels,  junctions and turns,road surface, 22 mile option etc

We look forward to reading your feedback which  will help us planning events for next year’s club TT’s

Congratulations to Stafford RC riders Melvyn Lewis and Dave Pugh who both produced impressive pb rides today in Walsall RRC open 25 mile TT on the A25/11.

Dave finished in a time of 55:12 taking  1:40 off his pb and Melvyn finished in 1:00:36  taking 45 seconds off his personal best

 

Still only June so I am sure we will see lots more from these two this season.
