Record breaking ride tonight
Some fabulous rides on this weeks 5 mile time trial on the K7/5 course. The current 1000 mile and Lands end to John ogroats record holder Lynne Biddulph (Born2Bikes) set a new women’s course record tonight, showing that she is not only a long distance endurance rider but can turn on the speed when it counts.
Top ride by winner Scott Westwood (Walsall RC) with an overall winning time of 9:25 and Martin Moore 9:53 who was Stafford RC fastest rider.
Personal bests were a plenty tonight with Annis Moore and Christine Bresson, Dave Smith and Paul Taylor (Stafford RC) are those that I know of.
Thanks to Walsall for hosting this event, the second of our combined TT event series we are hosting with them this year. Our next combined event is on the K48/10 at weston next Wednesday.
