The Reg Pearce Memorial 10, hosted by Stafford Road Club, delivered everything we hoped for and more — sunshine, fast racing, a brilliant turnout, and that unmistakable Stafford RC welcome that makes this event such a highlight of the early‑season calendar.
From the moment riders arrived at HQ, the atmosphere was buzzing. Club members turned out in force to support, marshal, timekeep, push off, cheer, and generally create the warm, friendly environment that Reg himself championed. It was fantastic to see so many riders stay around afterwards to chat, compare rides, and celebrate each other’s efforts.

A Strong Stafford RC Presence
Stafford RC were out in numbers on the start sheet, with riders across TT bikes, road bikes, juniors, youth, and senior categories. It was especially encouraging to see junior and youth riders taking on the K48/10 — some in their first open event — and several female riders producing excellent performances on what is a deceptively tough course.
Exciting Racing & Category Winners
With four short climbs and around 110m of elevation packed into the 10 miles, the K48/10 always rewards riders who can pace well and stay committed. This year’s field delivered some superb rides.
Overall Winner
Thomas Bill (Stafford RC) — 20:06 A storming ride on home roads and a hugely popular win for the club.
Female Categories
Fastest Female (Road Bike): Sophie Anthoney (Stafford RC – Junior)
Fastest Female (TT Bike): Deborah Sheridan (a3crg)

Fastest Male (Road Bike): Brad Devine‑Jenkins (Solihull CC) An outstanding debut in his first ever open time trial.

VTTA Age‑Adjusted Category Winners:
Under 50: David Lynes (Droitwich CC)

A Day That Captured the Spirit of Grassroots Time Trialling
Friendly, inclusive, competitive, and full of encouragement — exactly the kind of racing Reg Pearce worked so hard to promote. Stafford RC were proud to host another successful edition, and even prouder of the community spirit shown by riders, volunteers, and supporters alike.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the K48/10 later in the season when VTTA will be hosting another open event on the 22nd August on the K48/10.
