🚴‍♀️ Presidents Ride – Route Announcement! 🚴‍♂️

I’m pleased to confirm the routes for the Presidents Ride, taking place this Saturday, 30 May, leaving from Sainsbury’s car park at 9:00 am — the usual weekend meeting point for Stafford Road Club rides.

We’ll roll out towards Haughton via Doxey, then loop through Penkridge before heading to the Canalside Café, Great Haywood, aiming to arrive around 10:30 am for coffee, tea, and cake — all courtesy of Stafford RC.

There are two route options depending on group size and pace:

• 🟠 21 miles – ideal for riders preferring a relaxed 14 mph average

• ⚫ 25 miles – for those comfortable at around 17 mph

Both routes are designed so everyone arrives together at the café for our mid‑ride treat.

Come along for a friendly, sociable morning on the bike — great company, great coffee, and a perfect way to celebrate the club spirit!

Afterward, there’s an optional loop for anyone keen to stretch the legs a bit more. We will head out through Hixon around Abbots Bromley and then back into Stafford for another 25 mile loop.
