We were treated to a stroke of luck with the weather today, as riders enjoyed a bright, calm morning for the first time trial of the season. Despite the chilly 3.5°C start, the lack of wind made for excellent racing conditions, and 16 riders lined up to test their early‑season form. It was especially encouraging to see so many younger riders taking part this year, adding great energy to the event. A handful opted for TT bikes, but the majority competed on road bikes—including
