New Year Day K7/5 results 2025

4 intrepid riders produced some excellent performances today on Stafford Road Club New Years day 5 mile time trial.

The storm had past but riders still faced a strong head wind along the length of the course.

Fastest rider on the day was Michael Deakin who finished in 12:36 which given the conditions plus been on a road bike was a stela performance. Chris Evans (Stafford RC) came second 13:50 (TT bike), Sophie Anthony (Stafford RC, Road bike) and our only junior rider came 3rd with 15:35, just 20 seconds off last years time set in much friendly race conditions.  4th was Roger Morris (Stafford RC, Road bike) our older rider today (77yrs) finished with an impressive 16:30.

Stafford RC will be hosting a number of club TT events this year, date still TBC and one open event on the K48/10 on the 17th May 2025.  So we hope you can join us at some, if not all of these.
