Update from British Cycling on when cycling activities may comence again
Hello everyone
In case you have not seen it already, British Cycling have issued updated guidance today which extends the suspension of cycling activity beyond 30th June – see link below
In a nutshell:
- International or national level racing suspended until 1st September
- Regional racing and non-competitive events (such as sportives) suspended until 1st August
- Club and group activity such as club rides suspended till 4th July
In all cases BC say they will review these suspensions on a fortnightly basis in the light of ongoing government guidance. They will give six weeks’ notice of changes to item 1) events above, four weeks for item 2) and two weeks for item 3). They also note that some disciplines or events may return ahead others if the format allows the safety of all to be managed appropriately.
There has not yet been a response from CTT but we will continue to monitor the CTT website for updates and inform you appropriately.
In the mean time Stay Safe and keep your distance 🙂
